Digital records management practices in the public sector in Manicaland Province of Zimbabwe

The paper assesses the digital records management practices in government ministries Manicaland province. study employed a qualitative and interpretive multiple case research design assessment of ministries. established that most province do not meet measure best practice as envisaged by several international standards, particularly generic standard ISO 15489-1 2016. lack clear provisions for NAZ Act, absence policies failure to implement standards records, recommended NAZ, is having negative influence on performance processes such creation capture, classification, access security control, storage, preservation, disposal adhering management.
